I have a wall in my room that needed a little oomph! I was thinking about cheap yet unique alternatives to art prints. I love fashion sketches. They're almost as beautiful as the actual clothing. Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters had framed fashion sketches for some ridiculous price. I can't find the original product, but that was the inspiration for this DIY.
Low end 4 Framed 8x10 art prints = $40
4 DIY framed art prints < $5
Savings = $35
Instructions:
Sometimes at the dollar store or thrift store, you won't find the exact number of something, in my case frames, so try your best to coordinate. It's more interesting that way!
Arrange pictures.
Command strip it.
Voila!
Basically, if you have a printer, you can print whatever (flowers, black & white pics) and there are inexpensive framing options available too. Spruce up that dull nightstand table or wall.

Print images. Yay for Google images! The pink one is my fave. The one on the right is a Versace dress.
Buy frames. I got these from the dollar store.
