I recently made-over two table lamps. The lamps were in good condition, but I didn't like the gold base so I spray painted it a bronze color and I didn't like the stark white lampshades so I painted...yes painted...the lampshades a linen color.
Instructions:
Cover any parts you don't want spray painted with masking tape and spray paint the base.
I painted the lamp shades with fabric paint.
Voila
When turned on, the paint lines create an interesting effect.
"Do you really love the lamp, or are you just saying it because you saw it?"
